Advertise Your Cause With Rubber Wrist Bands

by Guest Author on Jul.31, 2009, under Guest Articles

Rubber wrist bands can be completely customized and come in many different colors.  Each color symbolizes a different cause, there is the yellow which is for Livestrong an awareness program for cancer and pink is for breast cancer. However, the most recognised one is red which represents AIDS which has replaced the red ribbon that were worn on lapels.

You don’t need to support a cause to wear a rubber wristband, the young and trendy wear them as a fashion accessory as they are cheap and come in so many different colors that they are easy to help accessorize any outfit.

Wristbands come in a variety of materials such as silicone for example, but rubber wrist bands are the most common because they are comfortable to wear, are very flexible, durable and lightweight and if you buy them in bulk you can get wristbands at discount prices.

The whole point of these wristbands is that you can customize them to suit you.  Anyone can go online and design your own wristband by design, color, and wording.  You can have your message inserted with a company logo, your company name or simply a message which is close to you.

They can also be personalized with your name, a friend or a loved ones name – use your imagination, the possibilities are limitless.

Below is a breakdown of what custom wristbands can be used for:

Awareness Programs

Wristbands are used to promote awareness of a specific cause such as AIDS or cancer.  This first became popular by champion cyclist Lance Armstrong who used a rubber wristband to promote awareness of cancer through Livestrong.

Business Promotions & Advertising

If you run a small business or large corporation why not use ‘giveaway’ rubber wristbands out with your promotional message or logo.  You can buy wristbands at very affordable prices and are a cheap and trendy way to advertise, especially to the younger generation.

Fundraising Events

Trying to raise money for a special fundraising event then why not give the wristbands away for free once the person has made a donation for your cause?

Sporting Spirit, Team or School

If you’re proud of your college, team, school or sporting event then why not have a wristband with the name of it clearly showing.
